The Alberta Municipal Solar Program, a project of the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC), provides rebates to municipalities to install solar PV systems.  In partnership with the Pembina Institute, Solar Energy Society of Alberta, and Alberta Economic Development and Trade, the MCCAC has recently published the Solar-Friendly Municipalities Toolkit.
